Who would Jesus bomb? Who would Jesus waterboard? What branch of the military would Jesus join?
An examination of what Christ said about violence, militarism, and retaliation.
Jesus was totally opposed to using lethal weapons to defend Him or for any other reason. We are to trust in God, not guns. We are to trust in the protection of Christ, not military might.
Turn the other cheek. Put thy sword away. Those who live by the sword, shall also die by the sword. Resist not evil with evil. God despises the bloody and deceitful man. Jesus said "I am gentle and mild." Blessed be the peacemakers.
